The International School at the Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics was established in 2002. From an enrollment of only 149 students the first year, its reputation and appeal have increased to where currently over 2,573 students are receiving an advanced education. The International School offers four majors – International Accounting, International Investment and Finance, Finance (Chartered Financial Analyst) and Certificate in International Trade and Finance. The school focuses on providing students with a truly internationalized education. More than fifty professors are invited each year from foreign universities to teach finance, accounting and business courses in English.  Seventy-five overseas cooperation programs with universities in ten countries  are available to the students to provide a wide range of academic opportunities. A wide array of internship opportunities in China and abroad are offered to enable the students to learn to apply their newly acquired knowledge in the global workplace. 

The International School now has over 5,557 alumni. Although the majority of graduates find jobs in business and government immediately after graduation, more than one-third decide to pursue further academic studies at overseas universities for advanced degrees. International School’s reputation for excellence has been recognized by many top universities in the world, including but not limited to Oxford, Cambridge, the Imperial College, the London School of Economics and John Hopkins, where 11 percent of our graduates went for master’s and doctoral degrees.
